The aim of this 3-day leadership course is to explore the principles of leadership and management theories within the NHS.  This course is ideal for Registrars to satisfy their RITA requirements, doctors intending to apply to the Specialist Register via Article 14, Consultants who require CPD and any other doctors who would like to broaden their knowledge relating to leadership and management within a healthcare setting.  The course has been designed by doctors, is suitable for all specialties and CME/CPD Royal College approval has been applied for (15 CPD credits).

The aims of this course are to:

• Explore various leadership models within a healthcare setting
• Explore NHS hierachy and current management and political issues
• Learn how to lead and motivate a team of healthcare professionals
