Conditions relating to your use of the Apply2Medicine website and the products and services offered through it.

These terms and conditions apply to all conditions of sale and associated products arising through the use of this website. The Apply2 Ltd Terms and Conditions are set out below. You may wish to print a copy for future reference. Other terms and conditions on our site such as our privacy policy should also be read as part of this agreement. We may change the Apply2Medicine Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice to you. Changes will apply to any subsequent enquiries and orders received through this website. Through the use of this website you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

If you use this website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. 3. Access to the Apply2Medicine website
We will make all reasonable endeavours to ensure that availability of the website will be uninterrupted and that transmissions will be error-free. However, due to the nature of the Internet and the World Wide Web, this cannot be guaranteed. Also, your access to the website may also be occasionally suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to limit the frequency and duration of any such suspension or restriction.

4. Licence for Website access
Apply2 Ltd grant you a limited licence to access and make personal use of this website, but not to download (other than purchase personal statement examples and e-guides) or modify it, or any portion of it, except with the express written consent of Apply2Medicine. This licence does not include any resale or commercial use of this website or its contents; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use of this website or its contents; any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another merchant; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.

This website or any portion of this website may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without our prior express written consent.

5. Our contract
When you place an order to purchase a product from Apply2 Ltd, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you that we've dispatched that product to you. That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the confirmation of shipment to you.

Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed as being shipped do not form part of that contract.

Where a deadline is agreed to provide a particular service, this is reliant on the client providing us with the necessary requested information via email and by telephone. Failure to do this in a prompt and reasonable manner, within the agreed timeframe, will result inyou breaching the agreementand Apply2 Ltd will not be held responsible for the failurein meeting theoriginally agreed deadline.

6. Pricing of services and products
All prices quoted on the website are for customers making their payment direct to us and therefore include VAT at the current rate where applicable and are subject to change without notice. Please note where an institution, such as a school or college,agrees to pay for a particular service VAT will be added to the listed price on the website.

7. Limitations of use of this website and products/services purchased from it
You may not use information from or products/services purchased from this website for any other purpose other than for your personal use to apply to a University or Medical Post. Services and products provided through this website are exclusively for the purchaser's own use, and cannot be sold, distributed, displayed or given away, in whole or in part, to any other person or organisation in any form without formal written permission from Apply2 Ltd.

8. Electronic communications
When you visit the Apply2Medicine website or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. We often communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on the website. For contractual purposes, you consent to receive communications from us electronically and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

9. Alteration of Service or Amendments to the Conditions
We reserve the right to make changes to our website, policies, products and services and these conditions of use at any time. You will be subject to the policies and conditions of use in force at the time that you use the website or that you order goods from us, unless any change to those policies or these conditions is required to be made by law or government authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you). If any of these conditions is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

All information contained within this website together with any guidance documents and support provided to customers by Apply2Medicine are to the best of our knowledge correct at the time of publication. However, Apply2 Ltd cannot be responsible for any personal loss arising from the use of this website and subsequent services. All guidance documents and support provided is for general guidance only and if in doubt applicants should contact the appropriate educational institution to obtain advice specific to their application. Apply2 Ltd cannot be held liable for the outcome of using any product or service purchased from this website.

Please note we are unable to fabricate or falsify information included in any of the editing services offered.

Throughout this website are links to other third party websites which Apply2 Ltd deem may be useful to aid your educational development. Through using this website you accept that under no circumstances will Apply2 Ltd be held responsible for the contents and any subsequent damage, discourse or inconvenience caused as a result of visiting any third party website. 12.Events beyond our reasonable control We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

13.Waiver If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.

14.Governing law and jurisdiction These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

15. Termination of services Throughout the course of us providing our services to you if you fail to contact us after 28-days despite our best efforts to make contact with you by telephone, postal letter and email we will assume that you no longer require our services and deem our services to be delivered to your satisfaction.

16. Customer services and complaints procedure Apply2 Ltd is commited to delivering a high quality level of customer service and we strive to respond to all complaints within seven days of receipt. In the event of a complaint, please email office@apply2.co.uk. For Cancellations made by clients four weeks or more prior to the Course a full refund of the course fees less an administration fee of £50 per course will be made. For cancellations made by clients less than two weeks before the start date of the course no refund of fees will be made. We urge clients to arrange fully refundable travel arrangements as we cannot be held liable for non-refundable travel tickets. We would also like to clarify that in order for delegates to receive a certificate of attendance they must attend any given course in entirety. If delegates fail to notify Apply2 Ltd of their attention not to attend the course, no refund will be given and options to transfer to an alternative date will also not be available.

Please note that we will endeavour to move a delegate from their original course date to a future course date if we are given more than four weeks notice. If you request to move course dates within four weeks of a given course we will only be able to accomodate this if we are able to substitute your place with another delegate.There will be a £50 administration fee. We also reserve the right to move course dates and venues.

For booking of 1-2-1 sessions, refunds or date transfers cannot be made as the facilitators will have booked time off to accommodate for this together with incurring fees for room bookings.

Force Majeure. Apply2 Ltd shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is as a result of Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), government sanction, blockage, embargo, labour dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity [or telephone service], and no other Party will have a right to terminate this Agreement  in such circumstances.

17. Books  By law, customers located in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of a book within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered.

Where you are withdrawing from your purchase of a book within the seven working day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will require notification of this in writing to enable us torefund the cost of the item and the cost of sending the item to you as follows:

  • where you are returning an item that was part of a larger order, we'll refund the per-item charge for delivery that you incurred
  • where you are returning an entire order, we'll refund applicable per-item delivery charges and the per-delivery charge that you incurred
  • we will refund only standard (Airmail) postage charges for items delivered outside the UK
  • where we collect an item from you, we reserve the right to recover the costs of collection from you.

The specification detailed on the website including without limitation price, format, extent, number of illustrations, and month of publication, was as accurate as posssible at the time the catalogue was compiled. Occasionally, due to the nature of some contractual restrictions, we are unable to ship a specific product to a particular territory. Jacket images are provisional and liable to change before publication.

We will not refund the cost incurred by you returning the item to us and other services provided to you in connection with your purchase unless you return the item to us because of an error on our part or because it is defective.

Please note that we will only be able to guarantee next day delivery for book orders made before 16.00.

18. Incentive and Discount Offers.
Please note that customers are only able to redeem one incentive or discount offer per purchase. For example you cannot redeem an existing customer discount together with a refer a friend discount.

19. Enrollment onto courses for the sole purpose of your personal development
You agree that you are enrolling onto our development courses for the sole purpose of your personal development and not on behalf of another entity or competitor organisation. All course material, techniques and handouts are copyrighted and cannot be reproduced in any form without the express written permission of Apply2Medicine.

20. Statutory rights
These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
